BRIEF HISTORY
Turmeric is a form of shrubs and plants are spread (Annual) yearly in the tropics. Plants grow wild forests and surrounding turmericlush / former garden. Estimated to come from brightat altitude 1300-1600 m above sea level, some are saying that turmericoriginated from India. The word comes from Arabic andGreece Curcuma Kurkum Karkom. In the years 77-78 BC, Dioscorides mentioned this plantas Cyperus resembles ginger, but bitter, chocolate, and a little spicy, but not poisonous. Plant is widely cultivated in South Asiaparticularly in India, South China, Taiwan, Indonesia (Java), and the Philippines.
